Live life fully
Steve Jobs the founder and former CEO of Apple died today at the age of 56. He was a very successful and influential man. He changed the world; the way we think, the way we communicate and in particular, the music industry. He revolutionised the way we listen to music, bringing it into the digital age.
Seeing news of his death all over social networks today, I stumbled across Steve Jobs 2005 Stanford Commencement address. In his address, Steve Jobs gives very valuable advice on how to live life. This advice is very applicable to athletes and people in general. It can be summarised into three points:
1. Follow your heart,
2. The only way to be truely satisfied is to do what you believe is great work, and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. You’ve got to find what you love,
3. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
The movie above is quite long, but it is well worth watching. Steve Jobs’ message is very inspirational!
R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
